Kentucky. Josh Allen . 25. player. 49. . LB

The Packers defense loaded up on secondary help this year but now they have lingering concerns developing at linebacker. Not only did injury strike the inside position, but even their veteran star Clay Matthews questioned how effective their outside linebackers could be given the lack of proven bodies. What better way to ease those concerns than taking a player who can play both positions? That’s what Josh Allen has done with great effectiveness at Kentucky. He has that stop-start athleticism for playing in space but also the downhill speed and length to generate pressure on the quarterback. His versatility is impressive.
