Up:  Trey Burton

People have said for weeks that Trey Burton, a former backup in Philadelphia is much better than he was getting credit for. In the new Bears offense, his skill set had a chance to shine. Denver showed for the first time what they were talking about. Burton was lined up all over the field from in-line to flanked wide and he constantly got himself open. His four catches for 45 yards and touchdown in limited work were a testament to just how dangerous he could be.

Down:  Marcus Cooper

This preseason has been a nightmare for the veteran corner. Not only did he struggle in his last appearance against the Bengals, but he got injured shortly afterward. Then to make matters worse, the Bears got a solid performance in Denver from a pair of young rookies in Kevin Toliver and Michael Joseph. The odds continue to sway further and further against Cooper surviving the final cuts as the team cultivates younger, cheaper talent.
