. . Indianapolis Colts. 28. team. 46.

Andrew Luck could turn this Colts team into a playoff contender if his shoulder is healthy, but for now this team is looking a little rough around the edges.

Kudos to the Colts front office for bulking up on draft picks and starting to build around Luck. Getting both Quenton Nelson and Braden Smith for the interior of the offensive line will be crucial to keeping Luck in games.

I’d like to see another receiver alongside T.Y. Hilton for this offense because I don’t expect much from Ryan Grant after a mediocre, yet career season in Washington. Hopefully Jack Doyle and Eric Ebron provide reliability down the middle of the field.

Indianapolis doesn’t have a great running back, although Marlon Mack can get the job done. They did pick up Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins in the draft, so hopefully one or both can produce at a big time level.

Defensively is where I back off on the Colts despite them using three second round picks on that side of the ball. Kemoko Turray, Darius Leonard, and Tyquan Lewis are the start to a young core with Malik Hooker. I don’t see much else in the Colts secondary to love, especially with their cornerbacks with Pierre Desir and Kenny Moore starting.

Indianapolis will ride or die with Luck this year, but I don’t think they have enough on defense to hold up.
