49. . . . Green Bay Packers. 9. team

The bad man Aaron Rodgers is back healthy and ready for a new contract. Those two things spell a major season for one of, if not the, best quarterback in football. Green Bay goes as Rodgers goes, and despite losing Jordy Nelson the Packers offense could be special this year.

Rodgers will have Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, and free agent addition Jimmy Graham to throw to, with Graham particularly being a threat in the redzone. Rookie Equanimeous St. Brown could be a steal as a sixth round pick, and fourth-round pick J’Mon Moore should be as well.

Running back is still a big question with Ty Montgomery, Jamaal Williams, and Aaron Jones returning as a running back by committee group.

Up front on defense the Packers finally dipped into the free agent market and added Muhammad Wilkerson to bulk up their pass rush.

First round pick Jaire Alexander could start at cornerback this year, and hopefully Kevin King progresses after being taken in the second round last year. Rookie Oren Burks projects to start at inside linebacker alongside Blake Martinez, which could be a quality, young group going forward.

Green Bay will go as far as a healthy Rodgers will take them, and that could ultimately be the Super Bowl. Don’t be surprised if Green Bay is making a late run through the playoffs as Rodgers looks to (rightfully) receive the biggest contract in NFL history.
