Where Denver really has a chance to assist the Bears is in their pass rush department. Few teams have done a better job at stockpiling rushers than the Broncos. The fact they run a 3-4 defense makes this an advantageous venture for Chicago as they continue their search for help. One can assume there are four names fixed in place with Von Miller, Bradley Chubb, Shane Ray, and Shaquil Barrett. That likely leaves one spot on the depth chart remaining for the rest.
Marcus Rush is a unique story. He’s hardly seen any regular season action in his entire career but the 27-year old has become a preseason dynamo over the past two years. In his last four appearances to this point, he has a sack in three of them. Clearly, he just hasn’t found the right opportunity yet. The Bears may finally give it to him.
