Cyrus Kouandjio (OT)

The Bears are definitely in the market for some possible depth at offensive tackle what with Bobby Massie being in the last year of his contract. Cyrus Kouandjio, the former 2nd round pick out of Alabama who wasn’t able to stick in Buffalo, has landed as a backup in Denver. He seems to have overcome the personal issues that plagued the end of his time with the Bills.

Kouandjio is still young at 25-years old and was a 2nd round pick for a reason. He’s a big, powerful human being who has proven on more than one occasion he can be a huge benefit in the running game. Giving someone like that to Harry Hiestand could be a win-win both for the Bears and Kouandjio himself were the Broncos to release him.
