Tight end might actually be their deepest position

Coming into the preseason most people were confident the Bears were loaded at running back thanks to the Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen tandem. However, through two games it appears that may have been a slight oversight. Instead it may be the tight end position where this team has its greatest concentration of talent. Through two games the group has produced 13 catches for 196 yards.

They’ve provided a number of the biggest plays the offense has had this preseason. Considering how much Nagy loves to utilize the tight end in his schemes, this is big news. It’s quite possible the Bears could be rolling out sets of two or even three tight ends in several situations this season, taking advantage of their size-athleticism combinations.
