Los Angeles Rams vs Baltimore Ravens

NFL fans got their first look at Lamar Jackson last week in the Hall of Fame game against Chicago. The former Louisville star threw a touchdown pass and showed his elite mobility, scrambling for a first down and keeping plays alive.

Here’s Brian Baldinger’s breakdown of Jackson’s NFL debut against Chicago.

Jackson is competing with Robert Griffin III to be Joe Flacco’s backup, although we could see Jackson on the field with Flacco in some form of a wildcat package.

Los Angeles brings their flashy new additions across the country along with third-year quarterback Jared Goff. The Rams overhauled their cornerbacks by adding Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib while adding Ndamukong Suh to their defensive line.

Brandin Cooks and Todd Gurley highlight an offense around Goff that improved by leaps and bounds thanks to Sean McVay.

Sixth-round pick John Kelly out of Tennessee will be an interesting candidate to backup Gurley this year, and should see plenty of carries in the preseason.
