Down:  Bradley Sowell

The offensive line actually started out playing well in the game, giving Chase Daniel decent protection and opening some lanes in the running attack. However, as things went on they began to deteriorate. One of the primary names responsible for the issues was Bradley Sowell. The veteran was the starting left tackle during the game and did not look sharp.

He was beaten a number of times by the Ravens pass rush during the game, flustering Daniel to the point where he made a number of bad throws. There were concerns about the Bears’ depth at offensive tackle coming into 2018. Sowell’s performance only served to inflame those worries. If Charles Leno or Bobby Massie were to get hurt, it could spell trouble.
