London Fletcher (LB, 1998-2013)

Played a long time in his career at a high level? Check. Went to multiple Pro Bowls? Check. Highly respected for being a role model for the game? Check. Won a Super Bowl? Check that too. London Fletcher secured all the criteria necessary for enshrinement into the Hall of Fame. He played 256 games in his career, during which he did not miss a single appearance.

For a linebacker that’s absolutely unheard of. Fletcher has over 2,000 tackles credited to him. Even if that’s a little inflated it’s still impressive. He also had 39 sacks and 27 interceptions. He was a complete football player who was a forgotten key to the 1999 St. Louis Rams championship run. Letting him go in free agency in 2002 remains one of the franchise’s greatest mistakes.
