5. Cincinnati Bengals

player. 56. . QB. Missouri. Drew Lock . 5

If the Cincinnati Bengals are picking this high, it tells a pretty clear story. Andy Dalton wasn’t good enough again in 2018 and likely head coach Marvin Lewis is finally out. That should open up the quarterback position for its first major change in eight years. If it’s pure talent the Bengals are after, tired of the limited days of Dalton, then Drew Lock of Missouri will be their guy. Big arm? Check. Good size? Check. Accurate at all levels? Check. His biggest issues at the most are learning how to quickly process what a defense is doing. He can improve that with more experience and coaching. There is a risk to this pick, but Lock has the talent to finally elevate this team.
