RB. Iowa State. David Montgomery . 30. player. 49.

Oakland has had a hard time finding stability at running back for years. This is due to a variety of issues, most notably being health. The last time they took a running back in the 1st round of a draft was way back in 2008 with Darren McFadden. It’s not a traditional part of their philosophy, but if they can find the right guy who can compliment Derek Carr, it would be worth it. So with an extra 1st at their disposal, they take the risk. David Montgomery isn’t on the national radar yet but he will be soon. The Iowa State back is a proven north-south runner with power and vision, but people best not overlook him because he can catch passes almost as well.
