2019 NFL Mock Draft: Oakland Raiders Do the Unthinkable

Clemson. Clelin Ferrell . 3. player. 28. . DE

They didn’t actually do it, did they? Yes they did. The Khalil Mack situation continues to drag on for the Oakland Raiders with no signs of progress. Jon Gruden is a no-nonsense guy. At some point, one has to think he’ll want to rid himself of this issue so he can focus on the team. Would that mean trading one of the best pass rushers in the NFL?

Guess so. Lucky for him the 2019 draft class is stacked with talent at that position. Clelin Ferrell is one of the best. The Clemson defensive end is long, athletic, powerful and quick off the snap. He can win any number of ways. Can he be as good as Mack? Yes. If the Raiders got that plus those picks, it’s a great deal.
