The defensive line is starting to come into focus for the San Francisco 49ers. They have some intriguing pieces in place already and seem on the cusp of something interesting. It feels like they may be one more blue chip talent away from pushing it over the hump. Christian Wilkins has often been overshadowed by his teammates at Clemson, but don’t be fooled. This guy can bring it. He’s a dirty work player. Eat up blocks and free up others to make the play is something he specializes in. This makes one think he’s limited as a player, which isn’t true. When asked he can be quite a solid interior rusher who can harass the quarterback.
