13. Indianapolis Colts

46. . DT. Clemson. Dexter Lawrence . 13. player

The transition to a 4-3 defense has begun for the Indianapolis Colts, whether they’re ready or not. They’ve been assembling some good pieces thus far, but the one area that matters most doesn’t seem quite there yet on the defensive line. The Colts don’t have a genuine difference-maker. Somebody they can build around. Dexter Lawrence has shown at Clemson he can be that guy.

He’s not always the one who makes the play, but he’s always around the football. Lawrence is that defensive tackle who can dominate the line of scrimmage. He’s a good run defender but he can become a truly special interior pass rusher once he masters handfighting and block shedding.
