Prince Amukamara equals the number of INTs he’s had in his entire career
He predicted he’d get 10 interceptions this season, which seems a little ambitious. Yet the way Prince Amukamara has played in camp so far, it’s becoming harder to dismiss the claim. He loves playing in the Vic Fangio defense and it’s starting to show. While 10 interceptions won’t happen, Amukamara will equal his career total interception this year. For those who don’t want to do the research, that’s seven interceptions, which took him five years to achieve.
Mitch Trubisky is sacked fewer times in 16 games than he was in 12 last year
Last season was a tough one for Mitch Trubisky. He had to endure less than ideal conditions on offense. Not the least of which was a banged up offensive line and poor play calling. As a result, he was sacked 31 times in 12 games. It would’ve been a lot more if he weren’t the good athlete he is. Well, the great news things will change this year. Thanks to improved health, a better system and the arrival of line guru Harry Hiestand, Trubisky will actually be sacked fewer times this year despite starting four extra games.
