Who has the most to gain or lose?

Most to gain:  Isaiah Irving

As stated earlier, the pass rush situation is fluid for the Bears. It’s a great source of concern, but also opportunity. Thanks to a number of developments, second-year man Isaiah Irving is presented with a big one. Aaron Lynch is down with a hamstring issue. Now 6th round pick Kylie Fitts is dealing with an arm problem too. This leaves a wide open gap for Irving to insert himself if he can start racking up pressures and sacks right away in this game.

Most to lose:  Benny Cunningham

At the start of training camp, it looked like Cunningham was secure in his spot as the #3 running back thanks to his experience and special teams value. That may have been mistaken as already youngsters have begun to push the matter in practice. Ryan Nall as mentioned earlier is one of them and the other is Taquan Mizzell, picked up off waivers last year from, ironically, Baltimore. Cunningham best be careful. If either of them gets off to a hot start, his roster spot is up for grabs.
