Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers

Without a doubt, the impact of Aaron Rodgers was seen last year during his time off due to injury. With a healthy Rodgers back in town, the Packers once against will be playoff contenders. Losing Jordy Nelson, Rodgers favorite target, will be an interesting development for their star quarterback and the team in general.

The responsibility now comes down to Davante Adams and Randall Cobb. The run game will eventually have to find a guy from the committee that can break loose and be a reliable break for number 12.

The Packers crown on the NFC North has been threatened by the Minnesota Vikings over the past few years and the Bears could quite possibly be a dark horse team that is competitive for years to come.

Mitch Trubisky was the third overall pick in last year’s draft and it was no secret that the team tried to keep him under wraps as much as possible. In year two Trubisky was given an arsenal of weapons in Trey Burton, Allen Robinson, and Taylor Gabriel. The idea that we’ll see anything remotely close to last year is far-fetched.

Expect Jordan Howard and shifty back Tarik Cohen to also do their part in creating one of the more exciting offenses on paper. The defense as well should be fun to watch as first round pick Roquan Smith will more than likely be on the field week one to continue the dominance he showed at the University of Georgia.

Aaron Rodgers is second to none in the NFC and his reign is nowhere near being over. The Bears have a tough match up ahead but sparks are expected to fly in this one.
