NFL Pro Bowl: First-Timer Projections For All 32 Teams

Cincinnati Bengals
Towards the end of last season, William Jackson III began to show the coverage prowess that made him such an exciting prospect coming out of Houston when Cincinnati drafted him in the 1st round in 2016. There is a clear path to the starting job this year for him and early signs from training camp are he’s arrived in shape and brimming with confidence. It’s not hard to see why. He’s healthy and playing behind a defensive front that can apply pressure.
Everything is shaping up to be a good year for him. It won’t be a gimme though. Darqueze Dennard and Dre Kirkpatrick remain in the picture along with two 5th round pick in Devontae Harris and Darius Phillips. It’s a pretty loaded position group, so there’s no room to get comfortable. On the flip side, that competition may only serve to sharpen Jackson even further for the season. If his body holds out and he continues to progress like he did last year, it’s a wrap.
