Tennessee Titans

RB. Tennessee Titans. Derrick Henry . 31. player. 35.

After splitting carries with DeMarco Murray in 2017, it looked like the Tennessee Titans have seen enough. They’re ready to make Derrick Henry their feature running back in the offense moving forward. It’s not hard to see why. When the Titans handed him the ball 11 times or more in a game last season, they were undefeated at 8-0. The guy is a load to deal with given his size and exceptional power, but also the underrated speed.

The question isn’t whether he can make a Pro Bowl. It’s whether the Titans will let him. In order to do that, he must get fed. There’s no telling what the new coaching staff has planned. Mike Vrabel comes from the Patriots system. They like to run the game through the eyes of the quarterback and use the running game as a support branch. Henry is at their mercy.
