NFL Pro Bowl: First-Timer Projections For All 32 Teams

Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings fans must’ve been left pondering how different the NFC championship game might’ve been had Dalvin Cook not been hurt earlier in the season. They managed just 70 yards rushing in that game with no amount of scheming able to disguise Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon as the decent but unremarkable runners they were. Cook could’ve been a huge difference-maker both on the ground and in the air.
Through his first games in 2017, he was averaging a whopping 4.8 yards per carry, gashing defenses whenever he touched the ball. He also caught 11 passes for 90 yards in four games. Now with McKinnon gone, the bulk of the touches at running back are almost certain to get funneled his way. That means higher productivity. If he stays healthy, with that skillset, the Vikings offense may be even harder to stop than last year.
