Denver Broncos

. OT. Denver Broncos. Garrett Bolles . 10. player. 45

The buzz around Garrett Bolles when he came out of Utah was his body wasn’t quite right yet but the skillset was. The pass protection prowess, the nasty streak, and the violence. It was all the makings required for a top tackle in the league. All things considered, he had a fairly decent rookie season. The Broncos ran the ball well. Unfortunately a scheme change and ongoing quarterback problems let to protection issues. It’s hoped things will be ironed out this year.

One big benefit for Bolles will be the arrival of Ronald Leary at left guard. The veteran is an underrated player who should make his life easier with more consistent play. Combined with added experience and being in more NFL shape, the left tackle should be poised for a strong season. Especially if Denver’s gamble on quarterback Case Keenum turns out to be correct.
