Brian Quick

On the offensive side of the ball I’m going to be shocked if Brian Quick doesn’t make the team. People have been trying to cut this guy since he was the first player picked in the second round of the draft six years ago. While it’s true he has not yet lived up to that billing, he had some rather poor quarterbacks throwing him passes his first few years with the Rams.

Brian Quick has the potential to become a favorite target of Alex Smith and a valuable component of Washington’s offense. There is stiff competition for the five or six wide receiver spots on this roster. One of them would have to do some pretty amazing things to beat out the 6’3 220 pound veteran. He is a great blocker and never drops a pass. The Skins just need to throw him more passes after targeting him just eight times last year. I think Alex Smith will figure that out for himself.
