Will Ryan Shazier be ready for 2019? Will he ever play again? These are questions nobody has an answer to. The Pittsburgh Steelers certainly hope so but they can’t wait around forever. Until they have a definitive answer, it’s their responsibility to shore up the inside linebacker position however they can. No school produces a steadier stream of quality players at that position than Alabama. Anfernee Jennings is slated to be the next off the assembly line. He’s big at 6’3 but covers a lot of ground, shows good instinct in run defense and has explosiveness as a blitzer. In the aggressive Steelers scheme, he’ll be right at home.
