27. New England Patriots

. QB. Oregon. Justin Herbert . 27. player. 47

It’s no secret the New England Patriots are working against the clock now. Tom Brady is doing everything in his power to defy the ravages of time. He’s in his 40s now and it can’t be much longer before there’s a sharp decline in his play. They traded both Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett, leaving them with no options in regards to a long-term solution beyond Brady. Justin Herbert represents their latest venture down that path. The Oregon product still has work to do on his game but scouts are already enamored with the physical talent. He’s got size, a strong arm and demonstrates the kind of accurate touch most NFL quarterbacks need for success.
