It’s not the best sign when your two best pass rushers are both over the age of 30. The Carolina Panthers are banking that they’ll get another good year from Julius Peppers and Mario Addison, presuming both stay healthy. The problem is they can’t do this forever. Sooner or later the Panthers have to get serious about infusing some youth into that position. The 2019 draft will be where they should strike. Zach Allen was overshadowed a lot at Boston College by Harold Landry but some feel he might have the better pro career. He’s got more size and power while demonstrating a good motor and ability to win at first contact off the snap.
