12. Detroit Lions

player. 50. . DE. Miami. Joe Jackson . 12

The Lions face a potential problem going into 2019. Ezekiel Ansah has chosen to bet on himself this season. Rather than take their long-term offer, he’ll play the season on the franchise tag and take his chances. If he delivers, he’ll be one of the highest paid defenders in the league by this time next years. If not Detroit, then somebody else will. That’s why the Lions need a contingency plan in place in case of this possibility. Lucky for them the upcoming class is loaded with talented pass rushers. Joe Jackson is among them. He’s got the length and power of a defensive along with the violent hands when he chooses to use them properly.
