Dez Bryant wasn’t at his best in 2017 and the passing game went with him for the Cowboys.

It’s proving more and more that Dak Prescott is at the mercy of however good his receivers are.

Losing Bryant may have been necessary, but it still depleted an already questionable corps. That’s what makes the signing of Allen Hurns so potentially huge. He’s proven in the past he can be a 1,000-yard guy. The size, strong hands and toughness are there.

He can do almost all the things Bryant once could, provided he stays healthy.
