Quarterback, NFL Draft. . Lamar Jackson. . team. 26.

Landing a potential franchise quarterback at the bottom of the first round is tough but the Ravens took a heck of a swing at it.

The value of Lamar Jackson can’t be understated. For starters, he represents their likely future at the position. Second, his presence is going to push Joe Flacco to work and play harder than he ever has before, which will only benefit the team more.

Last but not least, Jackson’s unique athleticism and versatility give the coaches any number of ways to diversify the offense, creating potential matchups.

Not a lot of rookies can do all that.
