. Jordy Nelson. . team. 28. . Wide Receiver, Free Agency

We don’t know if Jordy Nelson is going to be able to return to the form we saw in 2016 after a disappointing 2017 season, but the Oakland Raiders are definitely banking on it.

With Derek Carr also coming off of a down year, perhaps the two can re-kindle their Pro Bowl abilities in tandem.

Nelson has been one of the best receivers in the NFL since 2011 when he busted out with a 15-touchdown season.

Since then, he’s racked up 48 touchdown catches despite missing a full season due to injury.

Nelson can help rejuvenate the Raiders’ passing attack, which would also rejuvenate their playoff hopes.

They need him to step up in a big way.
