Anytime you get a quarterback the caliber of Sam Darnold, it’s a huge addition. Truth be told the Jets haven’t landed a player of his talent level in a long, long time.

He’s got the entire makeup of a franchise player. He’s big, strong, delivers accurate passes and seems to save his best performances for late in games.

The guy is a playmaker. He just hasn’t learned how to play under control yet. That will come with time and work. The best part is he’ll have Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater to learn from.

Presuming the Jets can put an offensive line and weapons around him, their future is blinding bright.
