The Texans have one of the best defensive fronts in the NFL when they are all healthy.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see much of this roster healthy together at all in 2017.

Another player who has struggled staying healthy at times is Tyrann Mathieu, who is one of the most versatile and special defensive backs in the league when he’s on top of his game.

Mathieu brings a turnover machine to the Texans’ defense, and with so many great pass rushers in front of him, he should feast on the back end.

The Texans can use Mathieu in a great variety of roles and he’s coming off of the first 16 game season he’s played in his five NFL seasons.

Mathieu could be the difference maker and spark the Texans need to make them dominant defensively.
