NFL: Biggest Offseason Addition for Each NFL Team
The Denver Broncos wasted no time this offseason making a contract offer to Case Keenum.
After John Elway and prominent members of the Broncos’ front office attended just about every single major bowl game of draft-eligible quarterbacks (including the Idaho Potato Bowl to watch Josh Allen) and making sure Baker Mayfield was on their roster at the Senior Bowl, the team decided to go with Keenum over everyone.
Keenum, whose 2017 season with the Vikings in relief was the best year of his NFL career.
Keenum helped the Vikings get to the NFC Championship game where they were destroyed by the Eagles, but Philadelphia got the best of almost everyone last year.
Having Keenum could legitimately make the Broncos a contender again in the AFC West.
If he continues improving, the Broncos have enough weapons offensively that they could experience one of the biggest turnarounds of any team in the league.
