2. Laquon Treadwell, Wide Receiver

To say Laquon Treadwell’s career has gotten off to a slow start would be putting it as nicely as possible.

After a rookie season where he was hardly used at all, he played 500 offensive snaps for the Vikings in 2017 and managed to catch just 20 passes with 35 targets.

The Vikings didn’t ‘feature’ Treadwell by any means, but he was given plenty of snaps to prove his worth and finished the season without a touchdown for the second consecutive year.

Considering the type of playmaking ability Treadwell showed while he was at Ole Miss, his inability to seize a role with the Vikings has been surprising.

With the top three targets in the passing game clearly being Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, and Kyle Rudolph, Treadwell is going to have to find a way to nudge his way up the pecking order and become one of Kirk Cousins’ most trusted playmakers.

If things click in year three, Treadwell could be a pleasant surprise breakout player for the Vikings.
