4. Jarrad Davis, LB

In his rookie season with the Lions coming out of Florida, the former first-round pick Davis was second on the team with 96 tackles.

He also added two sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Davis’ rookie season was certainly an initial ‘breakout’, which is why he’s fourth on this list, but he has the potential to take another step further.

Davis showed the ability in his rookie season, at times, to be a dominant force and the addition of Matt Patricia as this team’s head coach should only enhance his ability to shine.

Davis has the toughness of an old-school linebacker but the range and all-around skill set of the linebackers that are coveted in today’s game.

He’s going to be a star and this year could establish that.
