4. B.J. Goodson, LB

With the Giants moving to a 3-4 defensive scheme under James Bettcher, perhaps no player stands to benefit more than linebacker B.J. Goodson.

Staying healthy will be key for the former Clemson Tiger, who played and started in just seven games last season due to injury.

He was still able to rack up 53 total tackles and a forced fumble last season and could be the enforcer the Giants need in the middle of their defense.

Playing alongside Alec Ogletree, Goodson should be the grinder in the middle of New York’s defense who will rack up the tackles at and behind the line of scrimmage.

If he can stay healthy for the majority of the season, he’s a candidate to rack up 120 tackles.
