4. Taco Charlton, DE

Playing less than 40 percent of the snaps in his rookie season, Taco Charlton didn’t quite have the year one impact many had expected of the former Michigan star.

Charlton played in all 16 games for the Cowboys, notching three sacks, and showed marked improvement as the year rolled along.

This season, he’s going to be counted on to play a bigger role on the other side of the formation from DeMarcus Lawrence, and the Cowboys may get some huge production out of him.

Physically, Charlton likely had a rude awakening as an NFL player.

While he’s got a great frame to develop into a base defensive end and be strong at the point of attack, Charlton looked vastly undersized at times.

If he can prove this season to be stronger at the point of attack, he can cash in on more playmaking opportunities and have a big year for Dallas.
