3. Trent Taylor, WR

Through just one season, fifth-round pick Trent Taylor looks like one of the top steals of the 2017 NFL Draft.

John Lynch’s first draft class with the team appears headed in the best possible direction, and Taylor’s inclusion in the speedy San Francisco offense makes him an ideal breakout candidate in 2018.

As a rookie in 2017, Taylor caught 43 passes for 430 yards and two touchdowns, catching nearly 72 percent of the passes thrown his direction.

Taylor has great quickness in the slot and plays bigger than his size. He has strong hands and can make incredible catches with very good body control and field awareness.

He looked like a veteran receiver at times in his rookie season, and he’s only going to get better.

With Jimmy Garoppolo throwing him passes full-time, Taylor has a chance to become one of the top slot players in the league this season.
