Nazair Jones, DL

The Seahawks used a compensatory third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft on the former North Carolina Tar Heel Nazair Jones, and that pick has already paid off quite nicely.

Though the Seahawks lost Sheldon Richardson to the Minnesota Vikings after trading quite a bit to get him last year, Jones’ presence up front can help ease the pain of that particular departure.

Lined up next to 2016 second-round pick Jarran Reed, the Seahawks have a player in Jones with great size, quickness off the snap, and length.

As a rookie in 2017, he played in 11 games with two starts, 19 total tackles, two sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery.

It was a very good start to his NFL career, but he could be ready to break out as a full-time starter in 2018.
