3. Cory Littleton, LB

The Rams’ new-look defense is going to need a ‘quarterback’, and former undrafted free agent Cory Littleton is ready to step up.

Littleton has started just five of his 32 NFL games so far, but he’s shown enough promise that the Rams traded Alec Ogletree to the New York Giants this offseason and didn’t really replace him with anyone else more established.

The Rams are putting a bit vote of confidence in Littleton, who will receive direction directly from Wade Phillips calling plays.

Playing behind such a talented defensive line, it would be no shock if Littleton ended up leading this Rams defense in tackles.

If ever there was a time to break through for a player like Littleton, it’s now.
