The Philadelphia Eagles are the Super Bowl champions. That comes with all the perks, but also all the pressure. Now the real challenge begins.

One of the hardest things to do in professional sports is to repeat as champion. This is especially true in football. There hasn’t been a repeat champion in the NFL since 2004 when the Patriots won their third in four years. The Eagles won their first title since 1960 last season. Could they follow it up by making even more history being the first team in 14 years to go back-to-back?

They certainly hope that’s going to be the case. Carson Wentz will be back. Their roster returns largely intact from last year. There’s every reason to feel confident they can do it again. Problem is the rest of the league has seen what they did and worked tirelessly to find chinks in their armor. Here are five teams they should be wary of as the season unfolds.

#5:  Green Bay Packers

Here’s the thing. When you employ the best quarterback in football, you should be considered a danger to every potential Super Bowl contender. Aaron Rodgers has ruined the dreams for many teams in the past. He’s still the best in the business and should be returning to an improved Green Bay Packers team after his collarbone injury last year.

He beat the Eagles in 2016 and knows the Jim Schwartz defense inside and out, having played against it for years when he was with Detroit. Head coach Mike McCarthy is still one of the best play callers in the league and always has his team ready in big games. Forget what their record said last year. The Packers are not to be taken lightly.
