Cincinnati Bengals. Andy Dalton . 7. player. 56. . QB

Answer this question. How can a three-time Pro Bowler be a quarterback tease? Most fans would say they’d love a chance for such a player to be on their team. Look it’s easy to dump on Andy Dalton for one reason or another. The fact is he’s had a good career, but in terms of failing to live up to expectations, which is what a tease is, there is no debate.

Dalton has made the playoffs four times in his NFL career. In that time he is 0-4 in those games with a ghastly 1-6 ratio in touchdowns to interceptions. Those aren’t numbers that should coincide with the success he’s had in the regular season. This is the true makeup of a tease. To paraphrase a favorite football saying, “Looks like Tarzan in December, plays like Jane in January.”
