29. player. 36. . QB. Seattle Seahawks. Dave Krieg

Is it possible for a quarterback to be a tease and underrated at the same time? If there’s one player who might fit that weird bill, it would be Dave Krieg. Most Seattle Seahawks fans don’t know that he’s still the second all-time leading passer in franchise history. He also was the first man to lead them to the playoffs and first man to get them to an AFC championship game.

Yet he’s rarely mentioned these days. Why? Mostly because he couldn’t quite reach that next tier of play. He’d have a good season and then revert to average. He’d throw 32 touchdowns but also 24 interceptions. The man had no middle ground and it was why his career is seen as a disappointment. That’s a shame because he did more for Seattle than people care to admit.
