2018 NFL Power Rankings: Biggest QB Teases For All 32 Teams
By Erik Lambert
There is no greater master of the art of quarterback teasing than Sam Bradford. Several teams have felt his sting over the years, but none felt it more than the Los Angeles Rams. Back when they were in St. Louis, they made the Oklahoma star the #1 overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft. It was hoped his strong arm and good accuracy made him a virtual lock to be their franchise guy.
He led them to a 7-9 record as a rookie. People thought the next year would be a breakout. He made it 10 games, struggled and was out with injury after that. In 2012 he got them to 7-8-1 while leading four comebacks in the 4th quarter. Expectations skyrocketed for 2013. Things started great. He threw 14 touchdowns to just four interceptions through the first seven games.
Then he tore his ACL and missed the rest of the year. In preseason the following year, he tore it again and never took another snap for the team. All fans were left with were glimpses of what could’ve been.
