. HC. Denver Broncos. Vance Joseph . 24. player. 45

Hoisting criticism on Vance Joseph alone for last season isn’t really fair. He inherited a Denver Broncos team that was already in the midst of chaos. They lost Peyton Manning in 2016 and then had to endure the abrupt retirement of former head coach Gary Kubiak. Joseph was never supposed to be in the picture and suddenly he was thrust into it by necessity.

What he inherited was a team in dire of need of help on offense and a defense that was starting to show its age in a number of places. The Broncos decided that it might be best to give him more time to get his own systems settled in before deciding if he was a worthy replacement for Kubiak. The arrival of Bradley Chubb and Case Keenum should help his case.
