46. . HC. Indianapolis Colts. Frank Reich . 26. player

Here’s a man who coordinated the offense of the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. He turned Carson Wentz into an MVP hopeful and Nick Foles into a Super Bowl MVP. For him to get a serious look at a head coaching job only after Josh McDaniels publicly backed out seems so wrong. The man deserved better than that. Still, it is what it is. Frank Reich has his own team now.

All things considered, it was a solid “backup plan” by the Indianapolis Colts. Reich does know a thing or two about being a backup. He was arguably the greatest backup QB in history. He has a deep understanding of the position, which is ideal for rescuing the career of Andrew Luck. He also has a background as a motivational speaker. This means he’s able to communicate with people, a vital tool that failed head coaches always lack.
