Chicago Bears. Matt Nagy . 28. player. 57. . HC

The criticisms regarding Matt Nagy are fair enough. He has no championships rings to elevate his status and was only a coordinator for two seasons. During that time he had direct control of play calling for only half a season, the rest of the time serving as a game planning specialist for Andy Reid. These factors make it difficult to know for sure just how much impact Nagy has had on his players during that time.

However, Reid is notorious for producing quality head coaches. Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Carolina can all attest to this. It gives the Chicago Bears some credibility in their decision to hire him. He’s young and brings an energy and offensive expertise they sorely lacked under John Fox. He also retained Vic Fangio as defensive coordinator which will only help his cause.
