59. . HC. Miami Dolphins. Adam Gase . 20. player

Over time it’s become increasingly clear that Adam Gase inherited an older roster that was already starting to deteriorate by the time he arrived. He got them to the playoffs in 2016 but soon injuries took their toll last season. The losses have only continued since then. Ndamukong Suh left in free agency while Mike Pouncey landed in Los Angeles. Jarvis Landry was traded to Cleveland.

The Miami Dolphins are more and more taking on the vision of a team trying to rapidly rebuild on the fly. It’s an unenviable situation for a head coach. He must try to put together a competitive roster filled with an ever-increasing number of unknowns while other mainstays like Cameron Wake keep getting older. Will the Dolphins blame him for any setbacks along the way?

It would be a shame if they did. He deserves some time to build his own team.
