Devin Smith, WR, New York Jets

Devin Smith was the 37th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, and was expected to become one of the best vertical threats in the NFL at the wide receiver position.

He played in 10 games his rookie season, catching only nine passes for 115 yards and a touchdown.

Chalking it up to the transition from college to the pros, Smith was expected to come out and have a big sophomore season for the Jets, but it didn’t happen. Injuries limited him to just four games in 2016 and he was held to just one reception.

He missed the entire 2017 season due to injury, and is now facing a ‘last chance’ situation in his fourth season with the Jets.

If healthy, Smith has an intriguing blend of size and speed and can blow the top off of defenses, but the last time we saw him do that with any regularity it was in 2014 at Ohio State.
