Which AFC North players are in danger of reaching ‘bust’ status in 2018? We take a look at players from the Ravens, Browns, Steelers, and Bengals…

For many players in the 2018 NFL season, it’s time to put up or shut up. In the AFC North, there are a number of players who were picked high in their respective draft classes that are in danger of reaching the dreaded ‘bust’ status.

Let’s take a look at players from each team in the division and how or why that player has gotten to this point…

Cleveland Browns: Corey Coleman, WR

Coleman was the 16th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, and so far, they’ve not gotten any real return on that investment.

He’s played in just 19 games in two seasons, catching 56 passes on a whopping 131 targets.

That makes for an incredibly low and disturbing catch rate of 43 percent (rounding up).

Coleman has to be considered in a make-or-break year for the Browns, who invested a ton of money into Jarvis Landry and who also have Josh Gordon getting back to full strength.

Snaps won’t be hard to come by if Coleman can find ways to be productive with what he’s given, but a 43-percent catch rate is disgustingly low, no matter if your specialty is deep balls or not.

Coleman was a stellar player at Baylor and specialized in making difficult plays look easy, but that hasn’t been the case so far in his two NFL seasons.
